Show Origins: Gatchaman is a Japanese animated cartoon TV show known for the massively influential impact it would have on subsequent team member fighting TV shows.

What Gatchaman Is About: The most accurate description of Gatchaman is that of an action, science-fiction anime-type TV series. Many of the episodes center around the Gatchaman team members trying to save Earth's nature as in conservation of nature or sophisticated environmentalism. Also the show focuses on the responsible implementation of advanced technology to make life better for those of us on the planet Earth. This animated show focuses on five youthful, superhero-type Ninja, who work for the International Science Organization (ISO). The ISO battles a group of mega advanced bad guys called Galactor and the ISO tries to prevent the Galactor from seizing the bountiful natural resources of Earth. The strategic commander of Galactor is a masked psycho named Berg Katse.
